Plantagenet Angevin Riesling
Wine
Plantagenet Angevin Riesling is grown in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The fruit is machine harvested at night when the fruit is at its coolest.
The grapes are transferred to the winery where they are immediately destemmed and crushed into the press. The juice is gently pressed to tank.
The clear juice is racked for cool fermentation with an inoculated yeast strain. The wine is fermented to complete dryness, then racked from its lees and blended before fining, stabilization and bottling.
Pale straw, Plantagenet Angevin Riesling has zesty citrus flavours with a fleshy texture and saline mineral edge. Cellaring potential is seven years.
